Quality Check Attendance: Check Colors and Finishes in Person
Quality Check Attendance
When clients place a strong emphasis on final print quality and color accuracy, there is an option called "on-site inspection." This allows for real-time color checking and adjustments.
This means that clients can be present at the printing site, providing instructions such as "This part looks a bit too blue" or "Can you make it a bit lighter overall?" to achieve the perfect color. This is the essence of on-site inspection.
Benefits
The main advantage is that you can ensure the color meets your satisfaction. In most cases, color proofing is sufficient, but for those with a strong preference for color accuracy, on-site inspection is a good option.
Additionally, if you wait until the product is completed, you can take it home with you. Of course, you can also leave immediately after checking the color, and we will handle the shipment.
Who Uses This Service?
Designers responsible for final output, salespeople from printing companies, and manufacturers often use this service. Additionally, some visit as overseers when the color produced by another company is unacceptable, as failure is not an option. Others come for pre-checks before placing future orders.
How to Request
To request an on-site inspection, simply inform your contact at the time of the quote or after placing your order. We will then coordinate the printing process and your visit schedule.
Cost
There is no charge for on-site inspection.
Procedure When You Visit
We will have the target color as close as possible before you arrive. First, you will check this and provide specific instructions.
Since the color of the printed material does not change instantly even after adjusting the ink or density, you can wait in the waiting room or observe the color change in the printing area.
Our waiting room is equipped with Wi-Fi, so you can work while you wait. Recently, some customers even played shogi (Japanese chess) while waiting (laughs).
Waiting Time
The waiting time depends on the number of colors and items, but it generally takes about 10-15 minutes for one color change. The total time will vary depending on how many colors and items need adjustments. Some people leave after giving an immediate OK, while others stay for the entire day.
On-Site Seal Printing Inspection Summary
On-site inspection is effective when you want to ensure the final color is just right. It’s an ideal solution when there's no time for color proofing or when the project cannot afford any mistakes.
