This is Kojima, the representative. Suddenly, but you must be familiar with the manga "Space Brothers", right? Even if you haven’t read it, you’ve probably heard of it. I, myself, haven’t read it yet, but I’ve heard that the story of a smart younger brother and a compassionate older brother who aim to become astronauts is incredibly interesting!

Today, I’d like to share the story of how we donated 10,000 stickers related to Space Brothers to Cork Agency Inc..

Are you familiar with ALS? It is a rare and progressive disease that gradually causes loss of movement and muscle rigidity. The "Space Brothers ALS Project"—Serika Fund—was established to fund research for a cure for ALS.

The heroine of Space Brothers, "Serika," in the story, successfully developed a new drug for ALS, a disease her father suffered from. Unfortunately, in the real world, no cure has been found yet.

Currently, there are about 9,000 ALS patients in Japan. The Serika Fund collects donations to support researchers and patients.

As part of their efforts, they sell charity goods. Our company contributed by providing charity stickers. The price of one sticker is 1,000 yen. You might immediately think, “That’s expensive!” but the price is actually a “donation” towards research funding. Please think of the sticker as a "bonus" supporting this cause. (It is likely that the research costs are much greater than we can imagine.)
