About the "Declaration on Accelerating the Activities of Shining Women" by Male Leaders
In June 2014, following the "Conference to Support Shining Women" held at the Prime Minister's Office in March 2014, a declaration was formulated by male leaders of companies actively promoting women's participation.
This declaration states that male leaders at the top of organizations will "act and communicate themselves," "break the status quo," and "promote networking" to enhance the motivation of various women and enable them to fully demonstrate their abilities.
Male leaders who endorse the declaration aim to carry out concrete initiatives in line with the declaration and expand the circle of such efforts to socially influential male leaders.
