Terms of Use– 利用規約 –

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use define the rights and obligations between Kojima Label Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "our company") and users and customers (hereinafter "users") regarding the design and printing services (hereinafter "our services") provided through this website. Users must read and agree to the full text of these terms before using our services.

About These Terms

These terms aim to define the rights and obligations between our company and users regarding the use of our services and apply to all relationships related to the use of our services between our company and users.

About Estimates

Estimates are calculated based on the information entered in the estimate form. If the specifications change during mass production, a new estimate will be provided. Additionally, print samples sent with estimate requests will be temporarily stored, but if there is no request for return within one month, they will be discarded. Please understand this in advance.

About Orders

All ordered products are custom-printed items. All orders are accepted via the order form. Click the "Order" button on the estimate PDF to access the form. Some users are exceptions and can order via email or fax. When ordering, instructions such as estimate number, quantity, and delivery destination are required. For special instructions, please provide them via email or in writing. We do not accept verbal orders or instructions to avoid post-delivery issues.

About Cancellations

Cancellation fees apply when canceling an order after it has been placed. The cancellation fee is 50% on the day of the order and 100% from the second day onwards. Please plan your orders carefully.

About Design Requests

For design requests, please contact the person in charge. Provide instructions for design production as specifically and clearly as possible using images or illustrations. Please note that significant changes during the creation process or more than three revisions will incur additional charges.

About Meetings

Meetings will be conducted via ZOOM or at our office. We do not have sales representatives who visit customers. Please understand this in advance. Regardless of the size of the company, many customers complete transactions via email.

About Data Submission

When submitting data for orders, please ensure that the data is complete. Complete data refers to data created with Adobe's Illustrator or Photoshop, matching the dimensions, color counts, and specifications in the estimate. In principle, the data provided will be used for plate making without any modifications. Our company is not responsible for any defects caused by data submission errors. If data resubmission is required after plate making, additional plate costs will apply.

About Plate Costs

Plate costs are incurred during the initial printing. They do not apply during reprints (additional orders). However, if there are any changes to the design (including even a single character), new plate costs will be incurred.

About Die Costs

Die costs are incurred during the initial printing. They do not apply during reprints (additional orders). However, if there are any changes to the shape, even if the dimensions remain the same, new die costs will be incurred.

About Reprints

Plates and dies are generally stored for up to three years from the last order date and used for reprints (additional orders). Even after the plates are discarded, the data is stored, but its preservation is not guaranteed. Users should also back up their data to prepare for any eventuality. If more than three years have passed, the same design will be treated as a new print, and new plate and die costs will apply.

About Payment Terms

Payments are due by the end of the month following the invoice date. This payment date is agreed upon when placing an order and continues thereafter.

About Initial Payment

For the first transaction, payment must be made in advance. An invoice will be issued immediately after the first order. Payment must be made by the day before the shipment date. The product will be shipped after payment is confirmed.

About Payment Method

The only accepted payment method is bank transfer. We do not accept deferred payment, bills, checks, or factoring. Please note that only cash transfers are accepted.

About Transfer Fees

The customer is responsible for the transfer fee. According to Articles 484 and 485 of the Civil Code, the transfer fee is generally borne by the party making the payment.

About Late Payment Damages

Customers are expected to pay promptly after an order is placed. If repeated reminders do not result in payment, a late payment fee of 20% of the invoice amount will be added. If contact cannot be established or we determine a lack of sincerity, we will take legal action.

About Sales Dates

The sales date is the date of shipment from our company (not the delivery date). Due to system constraints, changes to the customer's closing date cannot be made after our month-end closing.

About Prototyping

Prototyping refers to pre-production paid proofs using the same printing, processing, ink, and materials as mass production. The color of printed materials may change due to various characteristics of printing methods, ink, and materials (e.g., lighter, darker, brighter, or darker colors). In the case of special processing, the actual finish may differ from the customer's image. While we strive to deliver the highest quality products, customers concerned about the finish should conduct prototyping. We are not responsible for any color or finish complaints if prototyping is not conducted. Design changes during mass production are not possible. If a design change is made during mass production, additional plate costs will apply.

About Color Specification and Color Samples

Please specify colors using PANTONE or DIC. If you have color samples from other printed materials or preferred colors, please send them. We will reproduce the same or similar colors. In general, we do not accept color samples printed with inkjet or laser printers, but if there are no other samples, please submit them with the estimate request. If color samples are submitted after plate making, the delivery time will be extended, and plate costs will apply. Please be careful.

About Delivery Dates

The number of days required for delivery is specified in the estimate or when inquiries are made, as "〇〇 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)". Our company is closed on weekends, so please calculate excluding weekends. For distant customers, add the shipping days from Kanto to the business days.

About Expedited Fees

The "〇〇 business days" specified in the estimate represent the necessary production days suggested by our company. If the number of business days is shortened, expedited fees will apply. Expedited fees will be estimated on a case-by-case basis. Please order with sufficient lead time.

About Shipping Fees

Free shipping to one specified location (excluding Hokkaido, Okinawa, and remote islands). Additional shipping fees will apply for two or more locations. The shipping company used is Seino Transportation. Additional fees will apply for specifying other shipping companies.

About Reprinting Defective Products

While we take great care in printing and processing, if any defects caused by our company are discovered after product arrival, please contact us. After confirmation, we will promptly reprint at no charge. Please return the defective products by cash on delivery. If there is any doubt about the cause, please refer to the following.

About Preventing Recurrence

We share these causes and countermeasures with all staff and store them in a database. Upon customer request, we also disclose investigation result documents.

If our company receives complaints or allegations of illegal activities due to user causes (submitted data, customer and end-user interactions), our company will not be held responsible.

About Compensation for Damages

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by our company, we are not responsible for any compensation. If our company is liable for damages, the compensation amount will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the individual contract that caused the damage. We are not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, future, or lost profit damages.

About Revisions to the Terms of Use

Our company may change these terms as necessary. Revisions take effect when posted on our website. All customers must place orders in accordance with the revised terms.

Matters Not Specified in the Terms of Use

If any issues arise that are not specified in these terms, our company and the customer will sincerely discuss and promptly resolve them.
