Consultation Details
This project involved creating product labels for packaging coffee beans sold on their web store. The client requested that the label secure the opening of the pouch even after it has been opened, and that the adhesive be capable of reattachment after being peeled off several times. We used natural textured paper and applied embossing to the label. The printing was done using specialty inks to faithfully reproduce the specified logo colors.
Our Proposal
We proposed using a re-adhesive type called "Repeel" for the adhesive, and after conducting adhesive tests, the client approved its performance. We also ran our own tests to confirm its reliability. Since the pouch shrinks as the coffee beans are used, the position of the label varies each time, but the adhesive remained effective. For the material, we selected premium 70kg paper, which features a smooth feel and natural texture that aligns with the Blue Bottle brand image. The printing was executed according to the specified PANTONE colors, and embossing was applied to the top surface of the label. Production commenced after the client approved a pre-production sample.
