Consultation Details
This project involved the production of event announcement stickers for REAL DESIGN SITE. The client specified fluorescent red as the material. Although the printing is in one color (white), they requested that the white be reproduced in a way that minimizes the influence of the fluorescent red background. Additionally, they requested black ink printing on the reverse side for the announcement details.
Our Proposal
Instead of printing white, we selected white foil stamping. Unlike white ink, white foil stamping is not affected by the underlying material’s color (in this case, fluorescent red), which allows for a clean reproduction of white. As the stickers were intended for distribution, the final product was delivered with a trim-cut finish. In reality, fluorescent paper exhibits a far more vivid color—almost dazzling—than what is seen on a monitor. (Fluorescent paper is available in five colors: green, red, yellow, orange, and pink.)
