Encapsulating Fragrance in a Card

This is an announcement for a new product, created for manufacturers handling fragrances. It is called the “Fragrance Card,” a card that can encapsulate liquid fragrances.

The specifications are as follows: It is offset printed on 135kg coated paper, then a silicone laminate is applied, and a 25mm diameter nonwoven fabric is affixed. The nonwoven fabric is imbued with liquid fragrance, and finally, a transparent film is applied as a cover. Additionally, since the nonwoven fabric itself functions as a sticker, it can be affixed elsewhere. (This nonwoven fabric sticker is the same as the Aroma Diffuser Seal previously introduced.) Instructions for use will be provided later.

Purpose of Production

This product can be used as a fragrance sample. We thought it would be great if a fragrance sample could be delivered to consumers’ homes, so we created it. Because it is sealed, the fragrance will not dissipate until opened. After opening, the nonwoven fabric sticker can be affixed elsewhere. Instructions for use will be explained later.

[Important Notes]
There may be cases where production is not possible with certain liquid fragrances. If the material is not compatible, it may dissolve the substrate, so prior prototyping (testing) is necessary. Reference price: 3,000 pieces for 200,000 yen (excl. tax); prototype fee is an additional 34,000 yen (excl. tax).

How to Use

It's easy to use. Just peel off the surface film. If necessary, the non-woven fabric sticker (Aroma Diffuser Seal) can be moved to another location.
