These are ribbon stickers for Christmas wrapping. The client wanted two sizes, one large and one small. They requested two different options for the number of colors in the estimate (the fewer the colors, the more cost-effective). As a Christmas design, the client requested gold foil for the stickers and red for the ribbon.
Additionally, with previous ribbon stickers, the ribbon showed slightly through the sticker, so this time they requested a design that would prevent this issue. They also wanted to ensure the quality by conducting a pre-production prototype and attending the inspection of the finished product.
Our proposal
We had an online meeting to discuss the project. Since the design is die-cut and irregular in shape, there was a possibility of warping depending on the material and lamination process. Therefore, we proposed using Yupo synthetic paper with PET 16μ gloss laminate, which the client selected. With careful attention during production, we anticipated no issues with the final product.
Regarding the ink colors, the client attended the printing process to ensure the color of their character "R-kun" (PANTONE 376C) was matched as closely as possible. The two people who visited were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the factory tour, commenting that it was "a very refreshing experience".
