These are ribbon stickers for Christmas wrapping. The client wanted two sizes, one large and one small. They requested two different options for the number of colors in the estimate (the fewer the colors, the more cost-effective). As a Christmas design, the client requested gold foil for the stickers and red for the ribbon.
Additionally, with previous ribbon stickers, the ribbon showed slightly through the sticker, so this time they requested a design that would prevent this issue. They also wanted to ensure the quality by conducting a pre-production prototype and attending the inspection of the finished product.
Our proposal
From the color sample, you selected the “ribbon color” and “gold foil” for the seal. We advised that there would be no issues with the transparency of the seal since it overlaps with the printed ink, and we provided images of similar products as reference. As a result, we ultimately did not proceed with a prototype and opted for a design with fewer colors, which also contributed to cost reduction.
