| Needs | They requested a partial adhesive label for wrapping around yokan. |
Consultation Details
This project involved producing labels for application on yokan. They requested that the side directly contacting the yokan be partially adhesive, as a fully adhesive label would stick to it. Additionally, since the package is opened by pulling a string, they also requested a material that can be cut with the string. There are three items, each printed in two colors, and the labels will be applied by hand.
Our Proposal
We proposed a high-quality 70kg paper that can be cut with a string. We used water-soluble strong adhesive. As they wanted adhesive only on the 10mm on both sides, we implemented “glue killing” (using a film to suppress the adhesive). The film used for glue killing is similar to cling film, so it is safe for direct contact with food.
