Consultation Details
This project involved creating a premium nori package design from scratch. They left the choice of materials and texture up to us. Due to variations in the origin and season, there are many different items, and their request was to keep costs down.
Our Proposal
We solidified the design concept by sharing image references. Since printing on pouches (packaging bags) is costly, we unified the pouch design and differentiated the items using the labels. Additionally, we reduced the number of colors on the labels to two in order to control costs. We proposed a matte coat with a correction treatment. Regular matte coat tends to allow the pouch printing to show through, so we selected a correction type that prevents this. The texture is smooth and works well with the pouches.
