Reason for choosing Kojima Label | We were searching for a printer that makes high-quality promotional stickers. |
Needs | Since all the logo colors are specified as PANTONE spot colors, we requested the closest possible color matching. |
Request details
The client shared that they wanted to hand out the stickers to customers, hoping they would apply them to laptops. They specifically requested PANTONE color matching instead of CMYK, and asked for custom die-cutting, including the backing paper. They also preferred a durable material with a matte finish, and mentioned they’d like to minimize any marginal misregistration.
Our proposal
We selected 80µ YUPO with a matte lamination for the material. It offers excellent durability, making it suitable for long-term use. The specified PANTONE spot colors were faithfully reproduced as requested.
The finish features a custom die-cut outline around the logo. For the darker areas of the logo, we applied overlapping (double-pass) printing to ensure depth and consistency. Additionally, we minimized marginal misregistration (the double edges that can occur with letterpress printing) as much as possible.
