Request details
The client requested packaging labels for six types of matcha products. Since most of their customers are foreigners at their Tsukiji Outer Market store, they wanted the design in English and requested a coffee-bean-like image. The client also specified that the pouches for the products were already decided, so the label should be designed accordingly. They requested a natural feel for the material and left the choice of adhesive up to us.
Our proposal
Fortunately, the client entrusted us with most of the design. They were particular about the color, and we discussed and finalized it together. Since inbound customers are likely to order again after returning to their home countries, we placed a large QR code linking to the purchase page (which includes recipes and blogs). We proposed using 55kg high-quality paper, as it complemented the smooth texture of the pouches. The client was very satisfied with the final result.
