Consultation Details
This project involved creating packaging labels for Oops WOMB’s fabric liner products. As these labels are applied to transparent, matte-finished pouches, the client requested a matte finish for the label’s texture. Additionally, we consulted on the final color tone and made the necessary adjustments. Two types of packaging labels were prepared.
Our Proposal
We proposed using Yupo 80μ, a white synthetic paper, laminated with matte OPP. The matte OPP provides a smooth texture and an upscale appearance, giving the product a premium impression. We engaged in extensive discussions and prototype tests regarding color. Although the initial prototype was produced via letterpress printing for cost efficiency, feedback that the colors appeared “a bit too dark” led us to switch to offset printing for the second run, resulting in a finish that fully satisfied the client.
