Reason for Choosing Kojima Label | After reviewing the production examples, I was impressed by the high quality and expressive design work. Many examples demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and accurate color reproduction, which gave me confidence to place my order with Kojima Label Printing. |
Needs | These stickers are novelty items to be distributed to listeners. Within the set budget, we wanted to focus on durability and a pleasing tactile feel so that recipients would truly enjoy them. We also aimed for a distinctive and memorable finish, keeping in mind the occasions in which they would be handed out. |
Consultation Details
The client consulted us about producing stickers to be distributed to podcast listeners. They requested a material that would keep costs down while offering excellent durability, with a subdued matte finish. To allow users to separate the design elements, the stickers would feature two half-cuts. Printing was planned in two colors—yellow and black—with the final shape to be die-cut into a rectangle.
Our Proposal
Our proposal was to use art paper as the base material, finished with a matte laminate to achieve both durability and a refined texture. The two half-cuts were placed on the text logo and the illustration logo, each processed into a custom shape. Printing was done using letterpress with two colors—PANTONE 134 and K100%. Finally, the stickers were die-cut into a 5R-size rectangle.
