Consultation Details
This project involved producing labels for chocolate products. With various items having different sizes and color schemes, the client requested to select the material after reviewing samples. They also wished to receive proposals regarding the final finish.
Our Proposal
Since the designs were simple and single-colored, we decided to emphasize the texture of the paper. We proposed using both natural textured washi cotton and premium 70kg paper. However, for washi cotton, designs with heavy ink coverage are more prone to ink bleed, which makes printing slightly more expensive; the client agreed to have it printed twice. (Premium 70kg, on the other hand, has minimal ink bleed and poses no issues.) For the finish, we recommended sheet-cut labels (5 pieces per sheet) for bottle labels, and single-cut labels for chocolate products.
