Consultation Details
We received an order to produce labels for OBROS COFFEE’s bottle products. This consultation was notably different from our usual requests—in a good way. They requested no printing at all, but solely embossing, and they also sought advice on materials best suited for this purpose. In their other products, they extensively used embossing on printed materials, and they wanted to unify the overall design image.
Our Proposal
We expressed a floral motif solely through raised and recessed surfaces. Although the seal’s thin material means some areas might not highlight the embossing as prominently, we made every effort to maximize the contrast of the textures. We proposed using washi cotton as the material. By applying embossing to its natural texture, the final product exudes a sense of luxury. Even in areas with strong lighting where the embossing might be less noticeable, the overall impression remains stylish and refined.
